What?

Specially designed advanced level startup coaching program for women entrepreneurs of Bangladesh in collaboration with Center for Policy Research on Business and Development (CPRBD), University of Dhaka to enhance financial literacy, develop technical knowledge and soft skills for women entrepreneurs.

Module-3: Validating your startup: Ideation to execution

Module-4: Startup Documentary Requirements: Capital and Legal

Module-5: Funding your Startup

Module-6: Connecting with markets/customers

Module-7: Visualizing your startup supply chain

Module-8: Managing your startup: organizing, record keeping, etc.

Module-9: Project presentation and profile development

FAQ

  • Women entrepreneurs moderately involved in business who will apply for trade license and have plans of operating business fully.
  • Women entrepreneurs actively involved and engaged in their respective businesses with valid active trade license and fully functional operational business.
  • Women entrepreneurs who are involved in their family businesses along with spouse/parents and those who can be considered as a potential independent business woman.

  • Interested applicants for the program must have business related experience or technical education
  • Interested applicants need to be involved in full-time business of their startup ventures
  • Age of entrepreneur eligible for the program is minimum 21 to maximum 45 years
  • The proposed initiative for the candidate must be entirely new and creative.

  • Interested participants to fill-up the registration form attached on the website/social media page.
  • The responses would be accessed and filtered by City Alo Team and City Bank Small Business team and then the selected participants will be contacted for interviews.
  • Final shortlisted candidates would be picked who would be eligible to take part in the program based on their registration form responses and after going through interviews.
  • Students to complete payment of BDT 3,000 in due time to complete registration procedure and confirm enrollment (enrollment will be done on a first come first serve basis).

The classes will be conducted at Faculty of Business Studies, CPRBD, University of Dhaka premises
