City Alo had signed a MoU with Ujjwala Foundation on the 30th of May, 2021. A total of 20 students have completed training in the first batch of the specialized beautification and grooming training program which entails session on hair styling & cutting, skin care & hair treatment, bridal makeup, threading, and session on grooming, mental health & financial management. The training program runs for 07 weeks where classes are held twice a week.

Major Activity to be done: Starting City Alo Certification Program in Bogura region with Pundra University
The City Alo Certification Program in Bogura is under process with communications done with the university representatives in inaugurating the first session of the program on August 2023 with current university students of Pundra University as means of promoting the certification program in Bogura region and also offering the course completely for free as a means of CSR initiative for the students of Pundra University.

No certification programs launched in Sylhet region with Leading University yet but plans of launching the inaugural session later this year.

Major Activities Done: One batch of The City Alo Certification Program with AIUB completed with 23 graduates.
City Alo partnered with American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) who are the 2nd University partner in Dhaka region. AIUB was on boarded as a means of expanding the Certification Program in Dhaka region and as such another university partner was included parallel to the first Certification Program university partner North South University (NSU). 01 batch has been completed with AIUB with 23 graduating students and 2nd cohort is starting from next month onwards.
It is a 1-month program with 08 classes taking place on weekends (Fridays & Saturdays) on university premises focusing on formation of business, business plan, marketing, networking and promotional strategies, bookkeeping, accounting and cost management, banking and financial management.

- First training partner outside Dhaka City for City Alo Certification Program
- Two (02) batches of The City Alo Certification Program with CIU completed with 27 graduates
City Alo partnered with Chittagong Independent University as a means of expanding the Certification Program and taking it outside the capital city. This marked the first time the business certification program was taken outside of Dhaka City where 02 batches of the program have been completed with 45 graduating students. City Alo is soon planning to organize a women entrepreneur fair with the Certification Program students, a regular initiative which is conducted for the students who have completed their training from Dhaka region, through NSU and AIUB training programs.
It is a 1-month program with 08 classes taking place on weekends (Fridays & Saturdays) on university premises focusing on formation of business, business plan, marketing, networking and promotional strategies, bookkeeping, accounting and cost management, banking and financial management.

Major Activities Done:
- 09 batches of The City Alo Certification Program with NSU with more than 270 graduates
- Two women entrepreneur fairs with City Alo graduates
City Alo partnered with North South University since the start of the project in an attempt to enhance the financial literacy of women in Bangladesh and make a positive contribution to the lives of the end customers both economically and socially. This program is developed with the purpose of increasing both technical knowledge and soft skills for the entrepreneurs.
It is a 3-month program with 12 classes taking place in NSU campus premises on every Saturdays focused on soft skills related to networking, presentation skills, negotiation and communication. It also covers technical aspects focusing on accounting, tax management, sales planning, personal finance and cash management.
City Alo has organized three fairs for the women entrepreneurs who have graduated from the City Alo Certification with North South University. Two fairs took place in City Alo Center while the last fair took place on March 2022 in occasion of Women’s Day.
SME Foundation – MoU for Strategic Partnership

Major Activity to be done: Going to conduct financial literacy workshop in joint collaboration with SME Foundation in Dinajpur and Barishal
City Alo had signed a MoU with Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation in order to develop the capacity and skills of women entrepreneurs of SME Foundation through jointly collaborating in organizing training session, events and exchange of information through their respective organizations in regards to their activities for developing the capacity and skills of women entrepreneurs.
City Alo is yet to do any activity with SME Foundation but plans to conduct two financial literacy workshops in Dinajpur and Barishal in joint collaboration with SME Foundation later this year.
Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CWCCI) – MoU for Strategic Partnership

Major Activities Done: Online workshop on key concepts of financial management for CSME Businesses for CWCCI SME Business Incubation Centre, Chittagong.
City Alo signed a strategic partnership with Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry where both the organizations will jointly work for the development of women from all walks of life in a vision to transform the women entrepreneurship landscape in Chittagong region. City Alo will act as the catalyst in the capacity building of financial management of CWCCI and also work for the financial inclusion of their women entrepreneurs.
City Alo had conducted one online workshop on financial literacy for its members at the CWCCI SME Business Incubation and also conducted a physical workshop in its premises. City Alo has plans of jointly organizing seminars and women entrepreneur fairs for the members of CWCCI.
Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) – MoU for Strategic Partnership

- Sponsored and jointly organized a 3-Day fair in Khulna for women entrepreneurs of Khulna region.
- Sponsored and organized a 3-Day fair in Bailey Road Mohila Shomity for City Alo graduates and BWCCI Members.
City Alo signed an MoU for strategic partnership with Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry where both the organizations would jointly work on women empowerment through financial literacy programs and capacity building of business growth and ensure availability of affordable financial services.
City Alo has organized two women entrepreneur fairs in joint association with BWCCI. One of which took place in Khulna region its women entrepreneurs in November 2022 and the other one in Bangladesh Mahila Shamity this year prior to the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr.
Joyeeta Foundation – MoU for Revolving Capital Support Fund of BDT 10 Crore for CMSME Loan and Two Wheeler Loan for Joyeeta Members.

Major Activity to be done: Will be launching City Alo-Joyeeta Scooty Loan through a formal launching program on the 6th of July, 2023.
City Alo had signed a MoU with Joyeeta Foundation, a government foundation under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs which provides financing and support to women entrepreneurs. Joyeeta Foundation has provided BDT 10 Core as support fund for two loan products: CMSME Loan and Two-Wheeler Loan for women (Joyeeta Foundation’s members). The collaboration takes City Alo to establish its position in the government sector and open new era of business opportunities.
